Getting Started with Payme.sol

Follow these steps to start accepting payments with Payme.sol, a decentralized Point-of-Sale (POS) system for the Solana blockchain. Payme.sol is available in two versions: Basic (free with limited transactions) and Pro (advanced features with a 0.5% per transaction fee).

Steps to Accept Payments

1. Install Phantom Wallet
   Phantom Wallet is available as a mobile app (iOS, Android) or a browser extension (Chrome, Firefox). Download it from the official website and follow the on-screen instructions to create a new wallet or import an existing one.

2. Generate Your Payment QR Code

   • Open https://paymesol.app on your mobile device or browser.
   • Choose your preferred version of Payme.sol:
   • Basic: Free to use with limited transactions, supports Euro-to-crypto conversions.
   • Pro: Includes advanced features like in-app notifications, unlimited transactions, crypto receipts, and support for Euro, US Dollar, and Dirham conversions (0.5% fee per transaction).
   • Click the "Connect Wallet" button and follow the on-screen instructions to securely connect your Phantom wallet to Payme.sol. The connection only retrieves your wallet address to generate the QR code; Payme.sol does not have access to your wallet or funds.
   • Choose the cryptocurrency you want to receive (e.g., EURC, SOL, USDC).
   • Enter the amount you want to receive:
   • Basic: Enter the amount in Euros.
   • Pro: Enter the amount in Euros, US Dollars, or Dirham.
   • Note: Enter a payment amount of $1 or more (or equivalent) to ensure reliable processing on the Solana network. Smaller amounts may not complete successfully.
   • Click the "Generate QR Code" button to create a unique QR code containing all payment information.

3. Receive the Payment

   • The payer must have the selected cryptocurrency available in their wallet.
   • The payer scans the QR code with their smartphone camera.
   • The QR code automatically opens their Phantom wallet with pre-filled transaction details.
   • The payer reviews and confirms the payment:
   • Basic: Confirm with a single signature.
   • Pro: Confirm with two signatures (one for the 0.5% fee and one for the transaction).
   • You will receive the payment in your Phantom wallet.

• Always verify the payment information before proceeding, as blockchain transactions are irreversible.
• The Basic version is ideal for small-scale use, while the Pro version offers enhanced features for high-volume transactions and additional fiat currency support.
